The University of Kentucky defeated Michigan tonight in a classic of an Elite Eight contest to earn a trip to Dallas and next weekend’s Final Four.  So, for those of us in the Bluegrass State, it looks like the earnest start of the golf season will have to wait one more week.

How many times have how many thousands of kids practiced and tried to do this in their driveway or local park?  I still like to dream the big, glorious dream, though sinking a buzzer beater has been replaced with pulling a Shaun Micheel.  (photo courtesy USA Today Sports)
