I’m only 42, way too young to appreciate fully the Viet Nam War, but NOT too young to understand & appreciate the sacrifice of our men & women of every armed force of our great nation. I remember first seeing this movie and wondering how close to reality it actually was. Almost 30yrs later am i first reading about the true story and how it was actually UNDERTOLD if that’s a real word? The fact that the truth is far more complex & hard to believe than Hollywood could actually make the movie to be, just makes it an even more awesome story, not to mention an additional reason to be in awe of our ONE OF A KIND MILITARY(OORAH)!!
