Results of February Question of the Month – Golf Cold Tolerance

A winter's day on the 18th green at the Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome.

A winter’s day on the 18th green at the Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome.

The results are in for February’s Question of the Month: What is your cold tolerance for golf?  The people have spoken and the readers of this blog are decidedly a hearty group of brave souls and golf addicted fiends.

Or, they all can’t stand their wives (or husbands) and have to hide on the links.  My face-made-for-radio is well suited for a hard winter wind beneath the protection of The Beard.

Whatever the reason, the results below overwhelmingly indicate that you, dear Readers, don’t need much of an excuse to get out on the course.  Except for that one guy that wrote in: Golf? Pitchers and catchers are getting ready.

  1. One Beard, I’ll do 40s for an hour or two of practice but gotta have 50 or above for play. Funny how your tolerance for cold decreases as your age increases. Thanks,
